BlazBlue Entropy Effect X features a rich cast of avatars, with whom you'll dive into the Sea of Possibility, defeating various bosses, to help a team of researchers save the world.

For this reward, we want you to tell us more about these story elements! Bring the drama to life through narration, editing, and gameplay footage. See 'reward details' for more guidance, including important stipulations on eligible languages.

Note that for this campaign, we can only accept entries in English, French, German, Italian, or Spanish. If you submit in a non-English language, please include an accurate English translation via subtitles. Voiceover or subtitles in other languages will cause your entry to be rejected. This is due to the regional targeting of our partner for this campaign.

In the finest traditions of anime and manga, BlazBlue Entropy Effect X features a dramatic, baroque story in which the fate of the world - what else? - is at stake, and a colourful cast of earnest, determined characters are working to save it. We'd love to see some videos which bring all this drama to life. Here's what to do:

Choose any character in the game. This could be one of the avatars which you play as you dive into the Sea of Possibility; or one of the research team sending you there and helping you on your journey (the main actors in the overarching story); or it could even be an enemy if you think you can turn their story into a chunky video.
Make a video telling us about your chosen character. In particular, tell us about a) their personal backstory - if they're a returning character from previous BlazBlue games, we'd love to hear about these! - and b) how they relate to the main story in BlazBlue Entropy Effect X. What have they been through? What are they capable of? Why are they here now? Where do they feature in this epic quest to save the world? Consider these and any other questions you think relevant.
You may discuss the crossover characters if you wish, but make sure you keep a heavy focus on BlazBlue Entropy Effect X.
If you don't want to focus on a particular character, you may tell us about the main story in BlazBlue Entropy Effect X instead. Otherwise, your video should be character-led. Either way, no spoilers!
We strongly prefer well-delivered human voiceover to tell your story, but if you're shy, we'll accept AI-generated voiceover or subtitles. As always with Just rewards, please do not use AI in any other way - it's a violation of our content policies and will carry penalties.
Use gameplay footage to illustrate your video. We expect to see plenty of in-game narrative cutscenes, plus some combat as appropriate. If you own previous BlazBlue games, you're welcome to use footage from those as relevant/necessary.
Lean into the epic, earnest, melodramatic tone of the game and others like it. Give us drama! Give us action! Give us emotion! Use whatever tricks you'd like to achieve this tone - overact your voiceover, employ tight, quick edits, add music, sound effects, and whatever else works.
Your video doesn't have to be too long. Anything between two or three to four or five minutes should be fine. We're mainly looking for an overview of your chosen story, but told with style and impact.
