Critter Cafe is not normally a game I would consider, often I look at such a game and immediately think "This is for kids" but as often, we try new things, Just about has in many ways forced me to open my eyes in regard to new games. So after much badgering from TheGreatestBanana12 I downloaded the demo and tried it out, much to my disgust, I was instantly hooked on the game.
Critter Cafe is a game that I can play while watching TV and simply relax, its very cute and cosy nature, relaxes the mind whilst making actual progress in a game, it's little puzzles push you a little bit and of course take care of super cute creatures is always fun.
Below is my first Critter Rescue Puzzle (Now on Critter 14)
After this, I began to really look into the options to customise the game, your Cafe and decided that I wanted a very Winter themed restaurant which just happened to coincide with a bounty Rich had set down.
After this, I have been playing with the habitat but as far as I can tell, the look and feel of your habitat have no bearing or positive effect on your Critters. It is simply for a creative feel and how you want it, so I am currently going with a beach feel and adding in things to make it so.
I have continued to rescue Critters as fast as possible, with IRL giving me time to sit and play, I am now personally on 14 Critters and have the potion for another one ready for when I next log in.
I am quickly learning that when serving customers, it is a bad idea to hit every order on its own, making it best to have 4-5 active orders which means more people stay put whilst you fill the orders, meaning more XP and a higher cafe level.
The great thing about the puzzles is they are becoming increasingly longer to solve and a bit more difficult per puzzle arena, now it's not simply pushing blocks around, it's solving the movements, swinging a hammer around in circles to activate multiple things at once and feather boots to jump around.
As I unlock new areas there is much more to explore as well, new blueprints and so on, having just unlocked the Winter area myself.
