It’s never easy knowing where to start when you join a new community, and that’s twice as tricky when the community itself is brand-new.
Fortunately we’re a small group at this stage, so I thought I’d try to help break the ice a little bit and give people the chance to introduce themselves.

My name’s John Bedford and I’ve been working in video games for around 15 years now. For much of that time I worked on editorial sites like Eurogamer and Metabomb, and I’ve done my fair share of freelancing over the years as well.
These days I’m the Head of Content for Just About, which basically means I’m responsible for all the curated content you see on the platform, as well as setting and awarding bounties during Alpha, and before we hand that role over to you.
I started playing games back in the glory days of the Acorn Electron, and have bounced between PC and console gaming ever since. These days I’ll play pretty much anything that has loot to grind or fancy items to unlock, but I’m also a big fan of competitive titles that don’t have too many mechanical demands.
Between Diablo, Overwatch and Hearthstone, Blizzard has me pretty well covered these days and I will get around to doing my degree in Warframe one day (maybe). I take frequent holidays with Nintendo, whenever the grind elsewhere is getting a bit much.

Hello! I’m Mark Brown and I’m the Senior Community Manager at Just About.
I’ve spent most of the last decade supporting various online communities, and I’m very excited to get to know you all.
I’m not a huge gamer, I have a PS4 and I can often be found playing FIFA. My son has just bought Hogwarts Legacy which looks pretty good, so i expect i’ll be playing that soon.
