Bam! Wham! Kablam! Woof! Dog Man was originally a comic from Dav Pilkey, the creative mind that brought the world Captain Underpants. We’d like you to do its comic-book hero roots justice with a video made chiefly from Bark in Action footage that’s stylistically edited in tribute to comic book style. Hit ‘reward details’ for further guidance and important info.

Take inspiration from classic comic-book adaptations like Adam West’s Batman series. Consider spinning frame transitions, splitting the screen into multi-panel comic grids at different angles, freeze frames, simulated page turning, onomatopoeia text overlays and captions, and dramatic voiceovers. There’s plenty of comic book-style fun already in Dog Man: Bark in Action, so you’ve got a great starting point.

We’ll leave the actual content of the video up to you. It could just take the form of a well-made reel, or you could be bolder and increase your chances of winning by telling a short machinima-style story of your own using gaming clips and your own voiceover. We’re looking for videos at least two minutes long, but longer videos may enhance your chances of winning a prize.

Important: Dog Man: Bark in Action is out now on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam). Our partner for the game is specifically in charge of its physical distribution. As such, while you’re allowed to capture your footage using the digital versions of the game - including the free demo on Steam - all reward entries must include a photo or rights-free press image of the physical game, its disk, or cartridge. We’d also love it if you mentioned the physical release elsewhere or incorporated that into your video, but it’s not a requisite to winning a prize.
