Playing Elite Dangerous is like poetry in motion, so we thought we'd put an Elite Dangerous poetry contest into motion. If popular, we'll look into different poetry formats, but for now we're going with a fun and accessible format: the limerick!
Here's a fuller definition of a limerick in case you need it, but in short it's an often humorous five-line poem with the rhyming structure AABBA in which the B lines are about 1/3 shorter than the A lines.
Your limerick must rhyme and scan correctly to get a prize! Here's an example:
'There once was a pilot so smug,
Undocking with mirth and a shrug,
He set course for Hutton,
Sought lamb but found mutton,
But at least he came back with the mug!'
You can write your limerick about Elite Dangerous in general or about anything in-game, from nebulae to the Fuel Rats. Feel free to include images or stitch together multiple social media posts if you need more characters.
Please add the following tags: #EliteDangerous and #JustCreators (and/or tag @EliteDangerous and Just on your chosen platform - details below)!
Just is on Discord! Click here to join, chat with other members, and catch the latest updates.
