To celebrate Empyreal's full launch, we've got another big-prize design challenge. We want to see you design and depict an all-new boss enemy!
Here's what you need to know:
You can depict your boss in any medium of art - digital or IRL drawings, 3D models, sculpture, etc, it's all good.
You must give it a name, and include some details on its gameplay and lore. Tell us about its attack patterns and what it feels like to fight, as well as how it fits in with the world and story of Empyreal.
Your boss should be plausible within the world of Empyreal, aligning with the look, gameplay, and lore of existing bosses.
You may not use generative AI, and to prove that you haven't, we ask that you include an in-progress picture or video of your design during its creation.
Your submission should take the form of images and/or videos in any combination depicting your boss design, including the background information in point 2 as either voiceover or writing, and including the work-in-progress image or video required in point 4.
The top prizes will go to boss designs that fulfil all of the above criteria to the highest quality. That doesn't just mean creative and brilliantly realised boss designs, but also ones that fit best in Empyreal's world. Think: golem-like defenders of the Monolith, not anthropomorphic giggling flowers.
