Our Intel reported a lonely Cormorant.
I took my Polar Rocket Flycatcher out for some spinning.
Because the T1 Destroyer are kind of a glass cannon and the T2 has its advantages.
To this point I was believing I have a strong upper hand.
Damn did ThatGuyToxic Tox prove me wrong.

This was hell of a fun.

  • The killmail > Golem | mrDavid | Killmail | zKillboard

  • A description of what happened > we boldly ventured into nullsec to create some more havic - this was our 326th ShrinkWrapped roam.

  • At our previous outing, one of the fleet members had spoken about bringing a probing jackdaw with him to the fleet to provide some support for probing etc.

  • Rhaegar kindly turned up in said jackdaw, and as a novice prober, i was more than happy to allow him to flex his probing muscle when the opportunity arose.

  • Anhyow, deep into Stain we found a Golem (that wasnt paying attention or was AFK) and the time was for Rhaegar to step up, so we got an approximate range and direction of the Golem, and he dropped for probes and got a 100% almost instantly so we promptly warp over and destroyed it with fire!

  • It turns out that this was his first ever combat probe!

  • The kill itself is fairly standard, but the fact that he stepped up, offered a support role, and went out of his comfort zone to provide a specialist role to the fleet was brilliant!
