I chose the ship I thought looked most technologically advanced and was one of the newest in the game to emphasize the theme's technological aspect. I also chose a color for the sphere interior that made the techy details pop without taking away from the hyper-bold colors of the ship -the punkiness, if you will. Even the underside looks great with one color emboldening the last, but the ship lighting in Eve seems to be attached to the ship, so there is no "finding the light" without making the skin.
