Make a video for Fanfest: '128 Seconds of Pure EVE'

It's YC128 and in coordination with CCP, we're offering you an extra special reward! As well as $500, the winner of this reward could have their video shown at Fanfest 2026! See below for details.
In partnership with
Here's what you need to know:
We want you to make a video exactly 128 seconds long that meets the brief: '128 Seconds of Pure EVE'. How you style the video is up to you, but as the name suggests, it should try to capture the chaos, beauty, adrenaline, camaraderie, uniqueness, majesty, and/or spirit of EVE Online!
Include a countdown timer counting down from 128 seconds to a thrilling climax!
The exact when and where of the video's Fanfest showcase is yet to be determined. It may be shown on smaller screens around the event, but we're hoping it will be shown in the opening or closing ceremony on the big screen. Accordingly, you'll need to ensure your video is captured in the highest definition possible.
It must be a YouTube video. We may ask you for the original files if you win the top prize, please have them available to send over at short notice.
We can't offer a 100% guarantee that it will be shown at Fanfest. As with any live event, technological and other unforeseen hinderances may occur. But we're confident it will be!
We recommend pulling out all the stops for this one: a cool title page, creative and professional transitions, great sound, thoughtful pacing, cinematic moments, varied and well-composed shots, and any other video creation and manipulation tool you have at your disposal. This could be a big boost for your channel, so show us the very best you can do and the very best New Eden has to offer.
Title your video something like '128 Seconds of Pure EVE' and give it a professional description. We'd love it if you mentioned us and added '#JustCreators'.
Secondary winners and runners up are unlikely to have their videos shown at Fanfest, but second- and third-place winners will win $150 and $100 respectively. We also have ten runner-up prizes of $25 each.
You have until 30 April. Good luck and Bobspeed!
