Bubbles in lowsec! My dream come true. Faction Warfare combatants with familiar supply routes may be in for a shock when one day they get pulled from warp, landing in my drag bubble. I'm expecting there to be some juicy kills in the first few months of Havoc, as players not used to nullsec mechanics come to terms with navigating bubble traps.

Another interesting point of note, in a recent video on Havoc, CCP Aurora explains that as suppression increases in a system there will be bonuses to web and scram range. This may actually encourage players to gatecamp these systems, increasing pirate activity in the more suppressed systems. Web and scram range bonuses would make covering a gate much easier, and open up the number of viable ships for solo camping.

CCP Aurora does go on to say that as the suppression level increases further, powerful sentry turrets will appear around the gates making gatecamping extremely difficult. It will be interesting to see where these bonuses kick in, and whether there will be a window where a supposedly "safer" system actually gets hellcamped until sentries spoil the fun. I'm personally hoping for this scenario, and am excited for the tears that would surely follow.

Great answer! Reading between the lines in Aurora's description, I think that window will exist. Whether CCP eventually closes it is another matter, but there will be plenty of time for shenanigans in between. I'm also intrigued by the possibility of players intentionally accelerating suppression to surprise a gatecamp and give them a taste of their own medicine

Incursions will reshape Faction Warfare in the sense that a lot more third-partying can happen.

Due to both militias having a common enemy in the pirates, although unlikely, it could happen that both work together against the incursion.

But as CCP announced, the incursions will more likely be happening away from the frontlines in an Empire's "backyard", potentially opening up a second front for the currently stronger Empire force.

I think that's a neat way to keep Faction Warfare dynamic.

I just hope there will be enough incentive for the militia-enlisted players to fight the incursion. Otherwise, the pirates will end up rather bored if there are no opponents to pew pew with.

Apart from that, the fact that even high-sec systems are not safe from pirate incursions, this sound like it could cause a lot of drama among highsec dwelling folk. I bet we will see more than one thread on the forums about it.
