Maybe, but first - this event is a good reminder to pump original Max movies up in my list. I saw them about 3 decades ago, it's time to rewatch!

I think those were the movies we rented from the video store more than any other. And you're right: it's time to return to the Thunderdome!

I haven’t been to a theater since 2019 and I’m finding it REALLY difficult to break the streak, so I’ll probably be waiting for on-demand lol.

Love Anya Taylor-Joy though

Dang really? Man of the world Ardeth Bay hasn't graced a cinema for five years? (Whistles) You never can tell with people, aye?

Hey now, ensuring that none step foot in the ancient necropolis of Hamunaptra is quite the time commitment!

I'm really excited to see this film. I've been trying to drum up hype with my partner and get her to watch Fury Road but she's not expressing any interest ☹️ I think these films come off differently in trailers from how they actually feel to watch

I rewatched Fury Road last night and had forgotten how good it was, the visuals, score, costume design and story is A-tier. It's certainly a film best watched in the cinema though, so you can bet your ass I'll be going to watch Furiosa on release day!

Got to see this last night and I've gotta say it exceeded my expectations and came out of it feeling hotter on it than I did Fury Road! The thing that really made it stand out is not just that it has lots of action, but the action is so readable. Unlike most modern action films, the action happens kind of slowly, but in a way that makes everything feel heavy and kept me on the edge of my seat.

I also think Anya Taylor Joy did a great job with the character despite having hardly any dialogue. I'd highly recommend it!

It takes a lot for me to say that an action film is exceptional, but Fury Road delivered on that. If you're saying Furiosa is even better, count me in.
