when i was younger i was obsessed with this Norwegian TV show called Skam. They remade it in a bunch of different countries and still to this day i would LOVE a crossover where characters from each show met up while travelling or something. It's been confirmed by the director that all of the remakes exist in the same 'universe'. Once a side character from the original showed up in the Dutch version for 30 seconds but a more substantial crossover is something I'd still love to see.

That's so cool 😄It's like on a local level the characters' experiences are unique, but somehow they're also common across the world!

yesyes especially since one character has a theory about parallel universes! they're kinda self-aware!

Harry Potter x Cyberpunk 2077 Crossover

Dream of a world where the traditionalism of Harry Potter collides with the corporate-dominated landscape of Cyberpunk 2077. This crossover would create a fascinating juxtaposition, exploring how these two vastly different cultural constructs could intermingle and evolve.

Imagine a faction from the Potter universe, perhaps one like the Order of the Phoenix, evolving into a dauntless corporation in Night City. The blend of magic and advanced technology could open up unique plot opportunities, where spells meet cybernetic augmentations, creating an unprecedented combo of mysticism and futuristic tech.

The contrast between the old-world magic and the gritty, high-tech life of Cyberpunk's world could lead to intriguing conflicts and alliances. What if Hogwarts, traditionally a haven for young wizards and witches, transformed into a high-tech academy, its ancient walls lined with neon lights, wires, and antennas, preparing students for a world where magic and machinery coexist?

Such a crossover could delve deep into themes of power, ethics, and identity, examining how ancient magical traditions adapt or clash with a ruthless, technologically advanced society. It’s a concept rich with possibilities for storytelling, character development, and perhaps uncover our current worries about AI entering our lifes!

I would love to see Robocop vrs The Terminator as we had it in comic and videogame.

Boomer's avatar

Hey Demonsmustdie, that'd be an epic cyborg vs cyborg showdown! To make sure you don't miss out on this bounty, would you mind re-submitting using the purple submit to this bounty button?

If it's worked properly then you should see the yellow border and bounty submission label on your submission.

Feel free to tag me ( Boomer ) if you have any questions.

It's a cross-over of sorts.... EVE online... the film!

I think EVE is crying out to be made into a film. It would be epic! EVE online is huge, and i think it would make for compelling viewing. Just think of the fights, and the scale of potetnial. Now with Vanguard coming in, it also opens up some ground infantry action too!

I think it would be epic!

Boomer's avatar

I'd absolutely watch that, but we want to hear about two film or TV show worlds you'd bring together.

FUN INC's avatar

Doh! - my bad! - i will have a think!

I would love to see a Stargate SG1 and a Star Trek crossover. There is time travel in Star Trek, so it could totally be explained how this happens (or who needs time travel when you have Q causing mischief?) Imagine O'Neil and Kirk having a leadership contest with both of them trying to be in charge of the situation while Teal'c and Spock stand there raising their eyebrows whispering "fascinating".

Boomer's avatar

This could open up a can of worm hole s!

How would you handle the actors appearing in both? Are they clones? Versions from a different timeline? Some coincidence of genetics? We'd need some character-specific episodes to figure it out 😄

Lanah Tyra's avatar

It could be "oh yes my ancestor said was..." And then turns out they are relatives. Or different timeline works too

JB

This one might be a little predictable but it doesn't mean it would be any less good.

Godzilla vs the Avengers.

This would be a CGI fest and I think as long as people aren't expecting a deep plot, the characters and action sequences would make it a blast to watch in IMAX/cinema!

Boomer's avatar

Reminds me of the question about fighting one horse-sized duck or 100 duck-sized horses! 😝

Would you rather be the one gigantic lizard or in a team of superpowered humans?

JB

I'd choose Godzilla any day of the week!

The sequel could be against Justice League after Gz wipes the floor with the Avengers

Group of heroes: exists Godzilla:

Probably Shrek and Shrek 2.

I just want to watch both films without swapping the DVD.

Boomer's avatar

A real Shrek move right there. He'd respect that.

Star Wars vs Star Trek - a decision must be made.

I call it "Trek Wars"

Boomer's avatar

For a moment I was convinced you were going with Star Star 🤩

People are going to give me flak for this but....

Star Trek Next Generation / Stargate SG1

Why?

Well why not would be my answer but also, as the ships in ST cross galaxies, whereas in Stargate there are only a few ships that can do so, I think that if the timelines converged and the universes collided, it would be amazing for "away parties" that where actually teams trained by the SG Command, you see where I'm going?

Anyway, I'd love to see that.

Boomer's avatar

I think you and Lanah Tyra need to get started on a script! Same Stargate but different Trek 😆

D

Picture this... Wonka vs Dune - Wonka has gone galactic and his secret all along for his magic was the Spice. Now Slugworth and co are hot on his tail to try and get in on the action. The Fremen are bad-ass Oompa Loompas who are there fighting alongside Wonka.

Sandworms are giant jelly snakes, so they look dead cute and delicious, but ultimately deadly.

Wait, are you telling me Arrakis is just one big ball of sherbet?

How about a Lego Muppets movie? The characters and writing of the Muppets with the slapstick physical humour of a Lego Movie. I know you’d lose the charm of the puppetry, but the Lego animation could open up a fresh avenue of comedy. As a one-off it could be quite interesting!

Boomer's avatar

There'd be so much scope in this!

People from the hard, angular, plastic world meet the soft, round, fuzzy one. What would lego characters be like as puppets? How would Kermit and co. handle their new-found freedom?

I'd watch that 😄
