To be sure to qualify for a prize in this reward, or to raise your chances of winning, please bear the following points of guidance or inspiration in mind:

• As with most of our rewards and all of our fan art contests, use of generative AI is strictly forbidden (be sure you've read our content policy as set out in How It Works). It's your responsibility to give us confidence that your work is human-authored. To help with this, we require you to supplement your entry in this reward with work-in-progress images or videos alongside your finished work. You may submit your finished work in image or video form.

• The header image and additional image in the description should hopefully make clear which enemy we're looking for: the Chomper is a canine enemy with the pinecone-like mouth. Note that it has a second, yellow-coloured variant in the game (the Spitter) with a different name and a different attack. We'll accept fan art of either variant: the form is what's important!

• As long as your fan art features the Chomper prominently and recognisably, we encourage you to experiment with every other element of your fan art. You could give us a different style (pixel art, anime, romanticisim, cubism, et cetera), show someone keeping the Chomper as an adorable pet or a vicious creature mid-attack, whatever you like. Get creative!

• This is a contest reward with a podium finish. Once the deadline passes, and assuming we receive enough submissions of sufficient quality, we’ll pick a first-, second-, and third-placed winner and award them $80, $60, and $40 respectively. We may also pick up to 10 runner-up submissions and award them $15 each. Top prizes will be awarded according to quality, but will not default to low-quality entries even if we receive insufficient submissions; Just always reserves the right to reject submissions which do not meet the quality bar for top prizes.
