We’re just over a week away from WASD 2024. Just About is proud to be an official partner of one of the UK’s newest gaming events (and definitely its coolest), and we’ve got loads of exciting stuff cued up to ensure we offer the best online complement.

The headline: the most bounties we’ve ever run simultaneously in one place.

WASD bounties

Think of the Facebook page (or, in the not-too-distant future, the Just About page…) for a music festival. People are enthusing about the big moments with others they’d never otherwise have met in a crowd of thousands, or sharing videos of bands that many will have missed because they were seeing someone else.

We can't be everywhere at once, after all, and by connecting you with everyone and everything happening at an event, digital communities can enrich your experience of it.

That’s what our WASD bounties are intended to achieve.

Check out our list of WASD 2024 bounties on the community for everything we're planning, not including a few that we’re not ready to talk about yet. They'll all go live during the week of the show. Even without the unannounced bounties, this is more than we’ve ever had live at once in a single community.

We’re aiming for a healthy mix of activities for all sensibilities: whether you’ve only got time to share a photo of something cool or give a few sentences of praise to a lovely developer, or you've been inspired to make a 20-minute video essay on the Augustinian eschatology of an amazing demo you’ve played, there’s something for you to get stuck into.

Just About at WASD

A new community that shares its members into the value of their content is a slightly complex thing to explain, and that’s before we get into our methods, such as bounties and organic rewards. And so to help WASD attendees see what we offer, we’ll be at the show ourselves!

We’ll be wearing ‘Just About’ branded shirts, answering questions, and waving our leaflets under everyone’s noses in an annoying helpful fashion.
