Hi Drifter, Profile pictures will default to taking the centre of the picture. However, we're also taking on board your feedback around members being able to crop profile pictures as they choose.

I can't guarantee if/when this would be implemented, but we'll consider this as part of our ongoing platform development.

Keep the feedback coming, this is great stuff!

A quick update on this, it isn't a bug.

At this time, we aren't offering infinite nested conversations, things may get a little messy. Even so, we'll have a think about if there is a better way we can show this.

I saved a comment but couldn't unsaved it by clicking the same icon again (it just came up with a "saved" pop up again).

I went to my saved post and there is no option to unsave there either.

Also, once you hit submit a comment the page refreshes and jumps to the top, rather than staying at the comment.

Hi Jules,

Everyone can earn points and level up, the picture you shared shows the progress bar between levels - the bar updates once each day.

Currently, points are achieved by receiving reactions. So, members who create the best content, will earn the most points.

In time, we'll be tweaking how points are earned (and more), feedback from the community will help us along the way.

Hey Jules, This has now been fixed, thanks again for letting us know. You can also keep up to date with all the changes we're making in our changelog updates discussion.

settings > display

Changing the site theme does not work for me. I click on "save settings " and a pop up confirms it's been updated but nothing changes.

Drop down > switch to dark mode

Works 👌

I accepted my alpha invitation and was asked to choose a username. I entered a username (my firstname and second name without any spaces) and got a message saying Username Claimed with a picture of a party hat. But I wasn't redirected anywhere. I just had to keep entering a username. I tried again multiple times with the same username and the same thing kept happening. I tried again with an underscore separating my first name from the my second name and that seemed to be accepted and I was redirected.

elo everyone, mostly just some visual weirdness for me. Maybe my rickety old iPhone XS?

on the editor in order to insert a. Image I have to tap the + but that’s really small and I end up in markdown. Also mark down is off the side of the toolbar.

I find I need to pinch out sometimes to fit the site or sometimes it’s jammed zoomed out too much with a white strip down the side.

Hyperlinks when they run over a line the word is split instead of the whole thing being moved to a new line.

Breadcrumb gets truncated

Can only insert one image at a time is a bit annoying.

Sometimes get spinny circle on add image too? (Stuck on that just now)

Having to scroll back up to tools… maybe should be on bottom on mobile.

Name etc truncated on profile page.

in the profile drop-down menu top right. There is a settings in bold which I think a header for the settings below but I was tapping on it thinking it was settings. Is that required or maybe underline and no icon so it looks more headery.

Bits of search results are cut off as well. Will follow up this post with some screenshots.

A few people have said 'share' looks like reply, and reply isn't obvious.

I do prefer the iOS style up arrow for share personally. Any ideas for a different reply icon?

It seems to be working OK now, but I wonder if that's because the page has generated all of its content and therfore the anchor has loaded, whereas when I tried earlier, I was just on the homepage having not updated the thread.

Incidentally, earlier today, we also added direct links to individual posts. So, if you want to share a link to a particular message, just hit the timestamp and share the URL.

I noticed when I typed a reply to a post before, when I pressed post, the last word of my reply was not included. Like it didn't save it quick enough.

Hello!

I tried connect my Twitter account via the button on this page: https://alpha.justabout.com/settings/connected But it failed. I am already signed in to Twitter in this browser. When I click the button, it opens Twitter but I get this error:

Pressing 'back' just reloads my Twitter timeline.
