I've got to be honest, I've not heard of any of these bands 😅 I'll give Kid Kapichi a listen now! Also, congrats to your brother, that's awesome!

I saw Pendulum recently and they were awesome as ever! Funnily enough I opened Music so I could share this:

Clearly my partner and I live the rock n roll lifestyle, because our next gig is the Stardew Valley: Festival of Seasons concert 😆

Ah man, I also went to Pendulum last week! I live close to the O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester, I had my eye on the gig for a while but thought tickets were a bit too dear, until a last minute pair went up for £15 total. And by last minute, I mean the band came on shortly after 9pm, and I got the tickets at about 7:45pm hahah. Was an excellent show, Pendulum were a huge band for me around 10-15 years ago, so loved hearing the classics - Watercolour, Propane Nightmares, Witchcraft, etc!

Kid Kapichi are utterly brill, I hope you enjoy! I'm a weird blend of indie and punk rock mostly - some of my other faves at the mo are Bob Vylan, Yard Act, and Frank Carter & the Rattlesnakes.

I did spy that Stardew Valley when it was announced but ummed and ahhed over tickets for too long!

Absolute bargain 😃 They were incredible, and such a versatile band!

Somehow Steve Wilson's lighter vocals on The Fountain fit so well... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m0VwXqtL8X0 ...and then Rob Swire blends seamlessly with (In Flames) Anders Fridén's raw vocals

It was their eariler album (Hold Your Colour) that got me started, and it became my work music while I was an undergrad.

Not sure why the playlist is missing the best track...Another Planet

Kid Kapichi is great. I've seen The Zutons a couple of times, and they were fab. I'm heading to a local gig in a couple of weeks but no big names for me!

The Zutons were a huge band for me as a kid, Who Killed The Zutons? is one of my most nostalgic albums. Very excited to see them live for the first time!

Same! I didn't own many albums as a teenager, but I listened to that one over and over

I don't think I have any gigs lined up for this month, but I did go and see sunn O))) at the end of last month. 2 hours of loud distortion, smoke machines and lasers. It was amazing.
