I think city are going to win with the big games against united, liverpool and city coming down to some crucial VAR decisions. I feel like that city will lose some away games against smaller teams but unfortauntely there overall consistently is going to get them to break their own record and get 5 premier league titles. Haaland goes on an absolute beast of a run

The 24/25 premier League season is going to be wild! Brighton will be the sleeper hit I reckon, I think they’re going to break into the top four and securing Champions League football.

Arsenal’s new big money strike I think it’s gonna flop and he’s gonna fail to score in his first 10 games.

I think Liverpool will give everyone a bit of a twist - I think that defender will get sent off during the Merseyside Derby (a little bit out there) but I think he’ll be sent off because he’ll do some form of tackle or something really crazy to an Everton player like head-butting him and he’ll have to get suspended for like a month.

And then I think for a big controversy, VAR is gonna allow last-minute winning gold for Manchester City against Spurs due to an offside call but it will be a super mare millimetre and it’s going to spark massive debates about the systems accuracy for the entire season.

Brighton making top four would be a massive shock! I reckon they'll be firmly mid-table myself, but they'll undoubtedly beat a couple of big six teams along the way.

Which Arsenal striker and Liverpool defender are you referring to? I could definitely see a controversial decision in the Merseyside derby.

Super, sorry I should’ve specified who I meant.

So for the Arsenal striker, I’m referring to Gabriel Jesus, even though he’s not a new signing it could be a season where high expectations are placed on him but a prolonged goal could be a surprising twist.

And for the Liverpool defender in question is Virgil Van Djik - known for his composed demeanour so imagining him lose his cool and getting sent off in a dramatic way during a murder side derby I think would be super shocking for fans!!

I’m just thinking super super hypothetical here but it’s all good fun ha ha

Nothing like bold predictions to get the creative juices flowing. I've got a few in mind.

League Winners: Arsenal, but they're going to do it on the last day of the season in added time, Aguero style, with Saka scoring a late goal to clinch the Gunners first title since 03/04

Champions League spots: Man City, Spurs, Man Utd. Fairly straightforward there but I fancy Spurs to find their feet this season under Ange and put together a few runs worth of a top four finish. United on the other hand could honestly push for the title if the team buys into Ten Hag, and I reckon they'll get it right and also clinch top four.

Chelsea.... Belgation scrap. A few years ago this would have been a bold prediction, perhaps this year it isn't. For all the new signings, I can't help but feel like the starting 11 just won't be anywhere near strong enough to win many games. Also Enzo Maresca is not a good manager, nearly fumbled winning the Championship with one of the strongest ever teams, and just ditched them because of financial trouble he helped contribute to.

Brighton and Leicester also relegated. Both teams are facing different issues. Brighton lose their star manager and a few good players, with others still struggling with injury and no real quality replacements, whereas Leicester are likely to face a points deduction and has made no real signings that show intent.

Surprise package - Ipswich. A classy manager and smart signings could, and maybe should, see the Tractor Boys finish in the top half, if not just clear of a relegation scrap, making the most of their opportunity unlike Luton last season.

Random Extra: Sendings off to happen for in-team fighting again, only it'll be two Chelsea players fighting and they don't even realise they play for the same team as they were both signed minutes before the game they play in, becoming the 99th and 100th signing of the window for the team.

As a United fan, you know what, I'd actually take this. As long as it's a comfortable top four and Liverpool are nowhere to be seen.

Man City are losing Alvarez which will be a big blow but I think they still have the quality and that innate winning mentality with Pep at the helm to take the title again this year.

I think 2nd-6th could be a very different picture, with a number of the big clubs strengthening well over the summer.

I see Arsenal or Liverpool finishing runners up but Man Utd, Chelsea and Spurs all pushing for the final champions league spot. Utd are making some really solid defensive signings over the next week with De Ligt and Mazraoui joining from Bayern. That'll firm them up significantly at the back but it remains to be seen whether Hojlund can cope as a 1st choice striker and how long Zirkzhee is going to take to settle into the Premier League.

I'm a big fan of Ange Postecolgu and he did some really interesting analyses during the Euros this summer. With him at the helm and the post-Kane blues lifting from Spurs, they are also going to be sniping for champions league spots!

At the bottom, Leicester are highly like to get a points deduction and end up dropping straight back down, Southampton don't seem to have the quality to put up much of a fight for survival either. The last spot could be down to Forest and Ipswich, with Ipswich seeming most likely to be relegated given the lack of Premier league experience.

Not too many shocks anticipated but that top 6 race will be exciting!

I think Arsenal will win the season with Liverpool finishing second,Tottenham finishing third, Aston Villa finish fourth, Manchester United finishing 5th.

The big controversial moment of the season will happen early next year when Manchester City will drop from 1st place down to around mid table after being docked points due to them not following financial regulations.
