Nothing like bold predictions to get the creative juices flowing. I've got a few in mind.
League Winners: Arsenal, but they're going to do it on the last day of the season in added time, Aguero style, with Saka scoring a late goal to clinch the Gunners first title since 03/04
Champions League spots: Man City, Spurs, Man Utd. Fairly straightforward there but I fancy Spurs to find their feet this season under Ange and put together a few runs worth of a top four finish. United on the other hand could honestly push for the title if the team buys into Ten Hag, and I reckon they'll get it right and also clinch top four.
Chelsea.... Belgation scrap. A few years ago this would have been a bold prediction, perhaps this year it isn't. For all the new signings, I can't help but feel like the starting 11 just won't be anywhere near strong enough to win many games. Also Enzo Maresca is not a good manager, nearly fumbled winning the Championship with one of the strongest ever teams, and just ditched them because of financial trouble he helped contribute to.
Brighton and Leicester also relegated. Both teams are facing different issues. Brighton lose their star manager and a few good players, with others still struggling with injury and no real quality replacements, whereas Leicester are likely to face a points deduction and has made no real signings that show intent.
Surprise package - Ipswich. A classy manager and smart signings could, and maybe should, see the Tractor Boys finish in the top half, if not just clear of a relegation scrap, making the most of their opportunity unlike Luton last season.
Random Extra: Sendings off to happen for in-team fighting again, only it'll be two Chelsea players fighting and they don't even realise they play for the same team as they were both signed minutes before the game they play in, becoming the 99th and 100th signing of the window for the team.
