What a tournament - it was absolutely fire from start to finish. The fact Italy are becoming a powerhouse, whilst teams who were historically great (Wales) are falling by the wayside. It's a great time to be a spectator.

watched a little bit of the tournament, and enjoyed what I saw. Don’t know a huge amount about rugby but it was exciting, and nice to hear that a lot of new talent got their opportunity to play on the big stage.

Bring a Welsh man, this wasn't quite the tournament hoped for to say the least! From my point of view, our team played more adventurous rugby than they have done previously under Gatland, but that has come at the expense of some questionable kicking tactics and a very Jekyll and Hyde defence.

I think our reliance on some players with very little professional experience, let alone no international level experience, shows the sorry state over our rugby player pool at the moment. It's great introducing youngsters to help development at international level but its left us with a lack of experience, a lack of leaders and a general lack of quality.

On the whole though, it was great to see Italy finally make some progress 2 wins and a draw was something no one saw coming and they fully deserved those points. From a neutral perspective it was a brilliant tournament with plenty of tries and some great rugby. Italy aren't just snaking up numbers anymore and there are a few teams now who will be in the running each year, not just the usual suspects!

Good take. Sad to see Wales at a bit of a low ebb but here's hoping Gatland can work some magic and the youngsters come good. The tournament overall was a fantastic advert for rugby though; so many exciting games! Personal highlight: Ireland/England. Absolute thriller.

I think for me, Italy just surprised the living hell out of me, they really did, Wales is normally the team that runs around kicking ass and taking names, roles have been reversed and that was a great watch, we saw a lot more talent this time round and a lot more strategy.

But it's as Josh says, it's great when a tournament shows new winners and talent instead of the same old "well we know whose going to win this don't we"
