Im an old supporter/player of the game Star Citizen, and for me one of the most stunning 3D printing that i found was this one of the ship Anvil Carrack which i own one, it was made and published by a player of the game named Swift Kick, it was so impresive that the official Twitter of the game publish it recognizing how impresive was.

I'm impressed by the minimal details that the creator put in this work that till today its an unbeatable 3D impression, im really amazed how talented people can be when there's passion.

The entire fleet of Elite Dangerous (just need the new ships released this year) from kahnindustrie. He posted this on Reddit with all the ships printed in scale, so you are ever able to compare the diference between the size of each ship. And the best part is the STL files available for anyone who wants to print it yourself.

I was planning to print one my self and now with the rewards of Just About I'm able to do it hahaha.

I disagree with Linus Sebastian of youtube channel LinusTechTips on a number of different things, but one thing we share is an enthusiasm for the possibilities offered by additive manufacturing/rapid prototyping/whatever technical term/buzzword you'd like to use for 3D Printing. His channel's video from earlier this year about 3D-printing hardline watercooling lines is one of my favorite usecases for the tech that I've seen emerge.

A custom watercooling loop is a cool, though arguably niche, option to consider when building your own computer, but there's a steep learning curve involved even before you get to things like maintenence that differ from using an air cooler or even an AIO. Having the option to 3D-print the tubing runs may not fully remove the difficulty curve, but it shifts it to an area where it's (somewhat) easier to pick up the necessary skills, and can help remove a lot of the upfront cost, ultimately making it quite a bit more accessible.

This, a perfect replica of a ruined portal from Minecraft, thanks to a built-in method for extracting 3D shape files in Minecraft Bedrock edition. I made a whole video about it a while back, and it's awesome because you can print your favourite builds in the game and capture all the detail in them for a real-life model replica!

3d printed medical devices are amazing and are giving people new or extended life.

But for me, replacing things like a heart valve, a tiny, flexable, functional piece of biology with a printed decice is insane. This kind of thing would have costed thousands to produce but can now be made in a few hours for pennies....

This is one of my earliest cosplays (I think my 3rd, possibly 4th) and my first ever Genderbent one and this prop gave me so much added confidence because of how cool it made me feel. I’m so glad that this was my first commissioned prop because it opened my eyes to the amazing things that can be done and supporting prop makers.

Something that really surprised me about 3D printing was when I discovered that it was possible to build houses! I swear it still doesn't get through my head haha

I remember that this topic got a good laugh in my house because my father, thinking about the idea of a paper printer, said that it was impossible to “print” a house.

The thing that always opened my eyes to 3D printers was the possibility of creating miniatures for D&D games. And that's how I met this creator: @briteminis. He creates several very cool styles of pieces to be printed on 3D printers and makes the game much more enjoyable. There are several models apart from his, but I personally love the denser style that his figures have!

His approach involved taking CT scans, creating a model using CAD, and printing it with a stereolithography 3D printer.

I'm a medical student and I can't help but be impressed by the impact of 3D printers in medicine, especially in terms of prosthetics, helping people's motor and psychological functions.

In the videos, we can see how these children will have a totally different life expectancy and with as few limitations as possible.

I've recently been lucky enough to have gotten my very own 3d printer, there are still some nits and grits I need to sort out but I love following people who create Pokemon-themed stuff but it also doubles up as something useful.

This item is pretty cool, it's a 3d printed add-on for your phone, that helps you throw Pokéballs in a straight line, which can be especially handy during gameplay. I'm not too sure who the original creator is but I have the link for it on Etsy. I'm hoping that the seller is the original creator.

I've seen some amazing FFXIV 3D printed weapons, sadly couldn't find my favourite one (it was a Summoner book which was glowing and had moving cogwheels on it, it blew my mind)

This one I really like, it looks amazing, and I love how she provides the free blueprints with it and also made a tutorial video! Probably if I would want to get into cosplaying again, I would have an attempt at this one.
