Like so much technology, self-driving cars were the thing of science-fiction right up until they became a thing of science-reality. While still grappling with some regulatory considerations, they're increasingly used in trucking, private, and commercial transport. Yet with their rise has come a rise in safety issues, malfunctions, accidents, and the loss of many driving jobs.
Do you think their continued rise is inevitable? Have you ridden in one? Are you concerned or excited about them? If you're making factual claims, provide the source (original, where possible).
