It's time to spread the word of Citadel, and it's always better to show than tell!

For this reward, edit together a highlight reel from at least three notable or dramatic moments. We'll look especially favourably on reels with added value in the form of music, tight or exciting editing, more and better clips, and/or commentary.

To play Citadel, head to alpha.thecitadel.com to access the playtest, which will run throughout the weekends of July 10-12 and July 17-19.

The folks at Citadel are looking for authentic high-quality content, so if you add narration then opt for your real voice - not text to speech - and avoid clipping. Be sure to capture the best footage you can: stable, engaging, and well-exposed. Be sure to mention that it’s an early access game. Aim for a minimum of 1080p.

The hook is all important here, so make sure you start off strong, build up the atmosphere, and then pay it off with the delivery. Aim for between 45 and 90 seconds, and be sure to add context in your video description, intro, and/or title.

What is Citadel?

Megastructures, spaceships, loot, permadeath.

Citadel is a browser-native extraction looter in which players coordinate and compete for resources in a high-stakes environment. Every decision you make affects your chances of survival; enter breaches taking risks and come out with loot, or die and lose it all.

Expansive world. As you push deeper into the outskirts of Citadel you will encounter more formidable opponents in tactical and immersive combat. Fitting, forging, and levelling up your ship involves strategic decisions to become more powerful. Managing your inventory is essential to succeed.

Browser based. No downloads or installs; joining a session becomes as easy as clicking a link or sharing it with a friend. Citadel removes friction and allows you to jump straight into the gameplay.
