This is what we want you to capture. Share short videos (under 150 seconds) of your most intense extraction in The Citadel! Uneventful clips may be rejected. We'd love to hear voiceover or live comms that deliver the tension.

Citadel is a high-stakes, browser-based space combat and extraction game with no installation required. To play, head to alpha.thecitadel.com to access the playtest, which will run throughout the weekends of July 10-12 and July 17-19.

What is Citadel?

Megastructures, spaceships, loot, permadeath.

Citadel is a browser-native extraction looter in which players coordinate and compete for resources in a high-stakes environment. Every decision you make affects your chances of survival; enter breaches taking risks and come out with loot, or die and lose it all.

Expansive world. As you push deeper into the outskirts of Citadel you will encounter more formidable opponents in tactical and immersive combat. Fitting, forging, and levelling up your ship involves strategic decisions to become more powerful. Managing your inventory is essential to succeed.

Browser based. No downloads or installs; joining a session becomes as easy as clicking a link or sharing it with a friend. Citadel removes friction and allows you to jump straight into the gameplay.
