The Citadel offers a panoply of experiences: tension, strategy, action, and - of course - economics!
For this reward, make your own trailer that does justice to one or all of these experiences, and of the deep, rich game that is The Citadel. Use your own original gameplay footage, writing, and narration.

For this reward, please create your own fan-made trailer for The Citadel and make it as good as you can. To be eligible or to raise your chances of winning, please pay very close and careful attention to all the following guidance:
All entries must be YouTube videos OR TikTok videos.
All entries must be between 30 and 180 seconds in duration (that's between 0.5 and 3 minutes).
All entries must be in Landscape mode/format/orientation.
All entries must contain substantial original work. You may use very small pieces of third-party work - such as other official trailers or existing music - but it's your responsibility to ensure you have the rights to do so and to conform with fair use laws. We expect at least 75% of all entries to be your own original content. As always, plagiarism and/or use of generative AI is forbidden.
Given the above, your brief for this reward is simple: show The Citadel in its best light. How you do that is up to you: whether you want to focus on a particular aspect of the game or try to capture the whole experience; whether you want to dial up the strategy in ship design and economics or focus on the tension in combat and extraction; whether you want to use captions to sell specific features or let the gameplay speak for itself; etc.
The point to emphasise is that we're looking for impact and quality. We hope to see some quality gameplay footage and video editing - not just tight cuts synced to well-chosen music, but visual effects and colour manipulations - as well as all sorts of other tricks we're not ready for. We can't wait to see what you come up with!
The hook is all important here, so make sure you start off strong, build up atmosphere, and then pay it off with the delivery.

The folks at Citadel are looking for authentic high-quality content, so opt for your real voice - not text to speech - and avoid clipping. Be sure to capture the best footage you can: stable, engaging, and well-exposed. Be sure to mention that it’s an early access game. Aim for a minimum of 1080p.

Once the deadline passes, and assuming we receive enough submissions of sufficient quality, we’ll pick a first-, second-, and third-placed winner and award them $80, $50, and $30 respectively. We may also pick up to four runner-up submissions and award them $10 each.
