Volcanoes. Cheese-obsessed aliens. Carnivorous plants. There are hazards aplenty in Two Point Museum's expeditions, but aside from suggestive icons on the expedition map, they're all described rather than depicted. That's where you come in!
For this high-prize artwork reward, we want you to show us what happens when expeditions go wrong - and there's a chance your work could make it into the game!
Here's what you need to do for that to maybe happen, or to win our top prizes. Please follow these instructions carefully!
Create a piece of high-quality original artwork depicting a Two Point Museum expedition that is in the middle of a disaster. What kind of disaster? Think about the dilemmas you need to resolve on expeditions, the injury or MIA events that can occur, or the dangers depicted on the expedition map or in the exhibits themselves. Think experts doused in ectoplasm as they flee spirits in the Netherworld, getting stuck in the Cheese mines, or Chomper plants plucking them from jungle rafts, that kind of thing.
Your artwork must fit within one of the game's main museum/expedition themes: Aquarium/Two Point Sea, Supernatural/Netherworld, Science/Bungle Burrows, or Space/Known Universe. The Bone Belt is so diverse that we're going to split it into two: Prehistory/Frozen expeditions, and Botany expeditions. That's a total of six themes.
Your artwork must be suitable to include in the game. That means it must match Two Point Museum's art style and colour palette, show experts and other staff in appropriate in-game outfits, and be family friendly: show us chaos and panic, but no gore, no dismemberment, etc.
In addition to your finished artwork, please include an image or video showing it in an unfinished state. This is to help us guard against AI and plagiarism, which, as with all our rewards, are strictly forbidden. Emphasis on 'unfinished': showing the completed artwork open in Photoshop isn't conclusive!
Provided we receive submissions of sufficient quality, the winning entries in each of the six themes will win $150 and be recommended to Sega for possible future inclusion in the game (subject to the devs' final approval). Up to three additional entries in each theme may receive $50 runner-up prizes, but the quality bar for a $50 prize is high, so pull out all the stops for this one!
