I'll give you two.

My favorite very very real real robot that does real work for us everyday, unappreciated.

I got a chance to work with these little fellas while an Amazon Robotics facility nearby came online. Functionally, they're heavy duty Roombas that then get shelving loaded on to their backs.
Seeing the entire inventory floating and moving can be awe inspiring. A huge chunk of our ability to access products quickly rests on their backs, literally.

My slightly less realistic pick is Sudobashi Heavy Industry's Kuratas

Megabots Vs Kuratas was kind of a dud, but I still yearn for large scale robot combat sports.
Hopefully we'll see another pass at this scale soon.

Since they're basically the same thing, I'm going to say the Bacta Tank from Star Wars/Medical Machine from Dragon Ball Z. Getting in the tank and getting out better sounds like the ideal doctor's visit.

My first inclination is to pick something from Space Ghost Coast to Coast (one episode has Thom Yorke AND Bjork) or The Eric Andre show, but this one is recent and cute.

This is my feel good jam lately.
It's the intro of Persona 4 remixed by my favorite japanese DJ, Shinichi Osawa. I remember him tweeting "I just want make music happy world" and his work reflects that drive. All of his mixes feel great, inspire action. Clean burning. Uniquely potent.

I'm gonna give Scarlet and Violet some love and say Larry.

I'm a huuuuuge fan since Red and Blue. Playing through Scarlet and Violet with my son, Larry really stood out. His gym challenge is kind of rough, the only one I had to help my eight year old with. He's an icon for all of us 30+ folks still playing Pokemon.

He's an adorable parody of corporate drudgery. Most recent playthrough I noticed him dropping some even more grim wisdom.

Immediately after that, his Starraptor uses Facade. 0.0
Calm down, Larry.

He's a fan favorite of this generation for a reason. We love Larry.

De Luna Music Festival 2010, Pensacola Beach, FloridaI had faked my way into press passes for this fest by way of writing music reviews for the local college newspaper. There was an armband system to denote attendees, press, and performers/vip. So I'm tagged as a journalist, and I'm stumbling away from one of the stages and I walk straight into a gaggle of VIPs. Florida, sun, vodka. I'm not thinking very fast. As I am proceeding to cross paths, I slooooooooowly start piecing things together. I recognize James Mercer first, Broken Bells' self titled debut had just dropped. Fake journalist, looking the part, walking straight into The Shins. We all awkwardly stop, I have no interview questions prepared, stumble over everything, so I thanked them for their work and scurried away in shame. They were very polite for the entire interruption.
