In the demo, Nellie is introduced to us by mr blanc as a passenger needing transport. I created a video essay theorizing that she is actually a rogue scientist from the Helicline Institute, seeking redemption for creating the "Red Aether" weapons used by the military.

Key Evidence Analyzed:

1. The Weapon: When General Eli fires the Red Aether, Nellie screams that it was "never supposed to get out," proving she had prior knowledge of its development.

2. The Tech: In the scrapyard, she demonstrates advanced engineering knowledge (repurposing "equalizer piping" for filtration) though typical for a scientist, she seems to know too much about Aether specifically.

I used these clues to build a narrative that she is defecting to undo the ecological damage her inventions caused to the Lower Districts.

I took a creative "Alternate Universe" approach for this story. Instead of the standard game lore, I re-imagined the relationship between Gia and Nellie to create a high-stakes political thriller.

Story Key Elements:

• The Intro: I re-purposed the opening newsreel into a "Breaking News" bulletin about the kidnapping of a wealthy New York heiress to set the stage for the conflict.

• The Twist: In this version, Gia isn't just a smuggler, she is Nellie's family former bodyguard.

• The Antagonist: I replaced Mr. Blanc with a stepfather figure ("Chairman Kross") to make the conflict personal. The story follows Gia executing her "Last Contract": not for money, but to rescue the person she swore to protect.

I focused on Gia's calculated and cynical delivery. To capture her surgical precision, I recorded with music low for clean audio and structured the edit into three distinct stages:

1. The Setup: Establishing her cynical worldview and the gritty city atmosphere.

2. The Job: Showcasing her no nonsense attitude with clients and passengers.

3. The Execution: Fast paced combat lines synced to the action.

I used hard cuts throughout the video to match the mechanical, rhythmic feel of the scenes.
