I'll preface this by saying my son was watching me play Elite one night. I was parked in a starport and I decided I wanted to do something stupid. So I took off from my docking location, deployed the hardpoints on my Fer-de-lance and decided it was a bright idea to fire my weapons in the middle of this starport.
I lasted five seconds. My son and I had a great laugh about this for five minutes. It was very, very much worth the rebuy. Was it dumb? Yes. Was it funny? Absolutely.
