this game is NOT novice safe

Do NOT skip the tutorial because you think "Eh, I'll be fiiine". you will NOT be fine, infact, you will suffer, and rot like I did I didn't know how to shoot, what a galaxy map was, I didn't eeven know what the FSD button was! it wad just plain awful, so long story short, never skip it

I was blasting, crashing, as an anaconda blares its lasers at my green barrier, the only thing stopping its guns from getting to me. My corvette, only having shield recharging beams, fought as hard as it could with its weakened lasers and its single thermal vent, finally, the shields were down, turns out, the anaconda skipped its hull reinforcements! turning the fight completely around...

then I accidentally rammed some poor adder and turned it to dust, sorry bud

Hes Commander Berj, he just likes flying ships into things, hes great at flying his all healing beam corvette into his friends who run shieldless combat builds
