I've always enjoyed rewarding people for doing deeds unasked and Elite has had so many great examples of this. We've had streamers and podcasters raise thousands of pounds for Charities. We've had the original Skype Community group buying over £1000 of Pizza from Dominos for Frontier just because FD said they would get the Alpha patch out by dinner time (so we arranged for the pizza to be delivered for something like 12 midday) There have been countless rescues by the fuel rats, some truely epic (like beyond Beagle Point), most just in the bubble helping everyone out. We've had commanders hear that a friend's PC's blown up and their mates, or even strangers donate components for them.

This community is so awesome and so generous, that my "suggestion" has to be "wow - that person / group have gone above and beyond. Let's give them some recognition"

This has happened to me so many times. At a station and I take off, my throttle is set to full forward, and I RAM the building ahead of me on the bad, and then because I have far too low an attention span, I was alt tabbed and just scrolling, with my ship constantant nosing the building in front, loosing shield... loosing shield, loosing hull BOOM!

I've moved my main browser search engine over to Duck Duck Go years ago, although I have to admit that recently I've been using Large Language Models and Google Gemini on my phone, there's something truly liberating being able to hold a life like conversation with my phone using it to pick out information.

My Favourite sounds from Elite Dangerous have to be Commander Jameson's logs. The feelings that the Voice Actor (who we might know from a well received RPG) portrays are heart breaking.

As an additional I love some of the weird and spooky sounds that the game has if you just stop and listen.

So many people (Frontier included) forget that Elite Dangerous is a universe with coming up 40 years of lore behind it. It doesn't have magic space wizards, or technology that breaks physics as we currently understand it, even the Frameshift Drive is based off of scientific theory. It's a dirty, lived in universe where humans are the scummy murder moneys that we all know and love.

I need me some Squirrel Girl! She's awesome, she's defeated Thanos, works with Spidey and others and hosts a podcast, plus she can talk to Squirrels, I mean that HAS to be better than Ants, right???
