Susano Smite 2 Guide.

Susano is one of Smite 2s top junglers. His combination of quick farming and the ability to 100-0 in the lategame while pretty easily avoiding damage is what makes him the most strong.

SkillsPassive - Gathering Storm

Susano accumulates stacks of Gathering Storm each time he damages enemy gods. Once he reaches 4 stacks, his next ability deals bonus damage.

This passive doesn't require active attention during gameplay. Just note that it provides a small damage boost in each fight.

Ability 1 - Storm Kata

Susano strikes in three phases: a cone, a circular attack , and a forward dash. Each phase requires a separate button press.

Storm Kata is Susano’s primary damaging skill, useful for clearing waves and poking enemy Gods. Maximising damage output involves canceling the ability to use auto attacks between each strike.

Ability 2 - Wind Siphon

Susano slices in a cone, dealing damage and pulling enemies hit in the center towards him.

Wind Siphon helps pull enemies into auto attack range and can be used to better confirm his damage output on enemy targets.

Ability 3 - Jet Stream

Susano hurls a whirlwind that latches onto the first enemy it hits, dealing damage over time for 3 seconds. He can reactivate the ability to teleport to the enemy.

Teleporting reduces Jet Stream's cooldown, making it a versatile tool for engaging enemies or making a quick escape.

Ultimate - Typhoon

Susano conjures a massive hurricane at his location, gradually growing in size and pulling enemies toward its center. Reactivating the ability launches the hurricane, dealing damage and knocking up enemies if it has reached a sufficient size.

Tips for Susano Combo

When using the auto attacks between Susano's skills. It is best practice to hold left click during your casting. Doing so will auto attack between the skills without even thinking of trying to auto attack cancel between. This occasionally does have issues when ping is involved. You can always manually cancel the ability and auto attack between but this can cause a slower combo!

Build

For Susano's build it can be your generic jungler build.

The following items for his build are as followed.

Bumbas Hammer - This is to enhance the overall farming for Susano making his early game even stronger.

Jotun's revenge - Susano is a god who is highly reliant on getting in and out. Having the passive on this item allows him to use his movement skills more safely.

Hydras Lament - Similary to Smite 1. Susano uses auto attacks between skills so having the same effect on this item is core for Him.

Oath Sworn Spear - Effective penetration on the passive and penetration as base stats is needed to finish off any power assasin build.

Titan's Bane - Another Penetration Item.

Heartseeker - As Susano combo has abilities that all do damage. He is one of the best users of this item

The Crusher - Very similar to Heartseeker. More abilities, more procs of bonus damage.

Relic- Blink an assassin is not an assasin without more forms of engage.

Have fun playing Susano :)

Amaterasu Guide

Amaterasu is the newest warrior to hit the battleground and will likely be a huge contestant for the best Solo laner and potentially top support in Smite 2.

Amaterasu's Role

As of right now Amaterasu is traditionally a solo warrior.

She provides great self sustain and boxing potential all while being hard to gank due to her long dash and ultimate. She thrives with fast rotations and quick clears which helps her impact the game massively.

While she does have her strengths in the solo lane as of right now we don't know if this pressure will continue but I do think Amaterasu in support will be a great contender in this role. Her ability to help the ADC clear so much quicker than any other support and being able to out rotate any support will give her huge value in this lane and I do believe if you are having bad luck with Amaterasu in the solo lane. Try her in support and you will see great results.

-GOD RUNDOWN -

PASSIVE: Illuminating Strike

Amaterasu’s auto attacks illuminate enemies for a short duration. Every three consecutive hits on the same target provide an aura that increases the damage they take by a small percentage. This passive provides a consistent damage boostin fights, allowing Amaterasu to amplify damage for herself and her teammates and also get away with her speed stance.

ABILITY 1: Divine Presence

Amaterasu switches between two auras: The gold aura heals nearby allies and grants them health regeneration, while the red aura boosts the movement speed of her and nearby allies.

ABILITY 2: Heavenly Reflection

Amaterasu charges her mirror, mitigating damage, and after a short delay, she can fire a line skill shot. The more damage she does. Traditionally charged with her autos, the stronger the attack becomes.

ABILITY 3: Glorious Charge

Amaterasu dashes forward in a straight line, passing through minions and stopping on the first enemy god hit. This dash also silences the enemy allowing you to disrupt abilities and close gaps quickly.

ABILITY 4: Dazzling Offensive (Ultimate)

Amaterasu slashes three times in quick succession in a cone in front of her, with each strike dealing damage applies a slow and If the third hit connects, it stuns the target for a short duration.

Where to Play Amaterasu

Amaterasu is primarily played in the solo lane due to her safety, moderate wave clear and ability to sustain while boxing. She is better in long engagements where her passive and abilities can stack up damage and healing over time.

The Raw dash engage combo

Start by engaging with Glorious Charge (Ability 3) to silence the enemy and get within melee range. Apply three auto attacks Immediately follow up with Heavenly Reflection (Ability 2) This generally will do the majority of a squishy God's health but dashing in does allow the enemy to get away. This combo is best when you're looking for quick poke or to secure a kill.

The biggest burst combo

Start by walking or blinking on a squishy God. Follow up here with auto attacks to see what the enemy will do. In the instance the enemy does not attack you continuously auo attack them until the dash/jump away or fight back. Upon the enemy running away follow up with a Heavnly reflection (Ability 2) and hold it while you use Dazzling Offensive (ultimate) This way you are mitigating damage while charging your ultimate. Once you stun the enemy god release your 2 and finish off with a few autos and a dash.

Amaterasu Tips

Tip 1: Stay in you gold aura when farming in lane or during prolonged fights for the sustain, but switch to red when you are in a fight. You can always switch away from the red stance to disengage and heal up

Tip 2: Late game your two is really key in mitigating as much damage as you can. You can always get damage off with it but when you are in a more lengthy game your job is to disrupt while getting in and out. Balancing your ultimate and two play a huge part in keeping Amaterasu alive.

Tip 3: To stun with your ultimate you do not need to hit the same enemy 3 times. You can hit minions, 2 seperate enemies or even 3. As long as you hit 3 the final hit will stun whoever it lands on. This is good for switching up who you stun in a pinch to catch people off guard.

Amaterasu Build

  1. Starter Item: Conduit Gem/warriors axe – Both good items to help Amaterasu's early game. Conduit gem is more aggressive and requires better control over the wave to not receive too much poke.

  2. Item 2: Helm of Radiance – This Item is a great early item for solo laners as you gain defenses when hit by physical damage. Your lane opponent more often than not will be physical especially when more warriors enter the game. Not only this the minions will hit you aswell stacking the passive.

  3. Item 3: Triton's Conch - I high HP stat stick item which also provides an aura for lategame fights. Scales better with level.

  4. Item 4: Genji's Guard - This will be your main magical defense item when antiheal is not needed. This is great as Amaterasu requires cooldown and the passive alone assists in getting your cooldowns back quicker.

  5. Item 5: Prydwen - Again another item that gives cooldown on top of bonus damage when ulting. As Amaterasu is mainly using her ult to finish off an enemy. The added damage helps without sacrificing too much compared to going damage items.

  6. Final Item: Spirit Robe - As a solo laner you will be hit with the majority of the CC during the fights, This item gives massive amounts of protecion for 4 seconds. This could be a make or break if you survive or get out of a fight and hoenstly one of the best solo lane items you could pick up.

Create a guide on how to play Nu Wa in SMITE 2!

Smite 2 Nuwa guide.

one of my Smite 1 Guilty pleasures.

Very straight forward character to play but honestly one of the hardest to win with but we can break it down.

Strength of Wood

PASSIVE

Very much the same concept as Smite 1. Her auto attack roots enemies on hit but in Smite 2 every 15s you are getting a root rather than stacking yourself. Hitting your auto attacks on enemies does subtract 1s off this cooldown so it is always in your best interest to consistently try and get those auto attacks in.

Mysterious Fog

ABILITY 1

Nuwa casts a circular skill which is her fog at her targeted location. This briefly increases her movement speed. This is generally good for safer clearing in mid lane if you are under pressure or getting out of trickier situations on top of just providing extra burst damage to her combo.

Clay Soldiers

ABILITY 2

In my opinion this is Nuwa's core skill and can be used in many ways.

This skill deploys minions in front of nuwa which dash towards the nearest enemy or the enemy Nuwa chooses.

The minions themself do damage on dash, damage when they auto attack an enemy and also applies penetration.

Shining Metal

ABILITY 3

Nuwa fires a line ability at a range of 10.4meters which deals moderate damage. If hitting a minion this causes a further explosion damage on the target and also applies a stun if the enemy is within the range of the minions during this time.

This skills is really good poke but beware once it is down Nu wa can be a prime target due to her crowd control being down.

Fire Shards

ABILITY 4

The infamous hated ult of Smite 1 if you are on low HP.

Nuwa is crowd control immune during this ult and flies in to the air and hits all enemies within range of her ultimage. Upon landing she gains a buff called Strength of Fire in which her basic attacks get a buffed range and also increase in speed.

Where to play Nuwa.

Nu wa is primarly played in mid lane due to her safe wave clear. She generally holds her own and plays around anti dive by protecting herself when the enemy solo and jungle are diving you.

She does have the ability to play in ADC is characters like Neith and Cernunos are picked in mid but it is not recommended.

Aggressive Nuwa combo

This combo revolves around pressing her 1 and walking towards the enemy. This does put her in danager but the rewards may be enough to use it this way.

Start by fogging the ground and throwing out her clay soldiers. This can be followed after a root from her auto attack or by itself. Once the minions are out you can instantly fire her shining metal and stun the enemy. If it is safe to do so auto attack as much as you can and finish with her Fire shards if needed.

Control Nuwa combo.

Throwing out clay soldiers is always strong but you don't always need to explode them right away. A lot of Nuwas strength comes from having her stun active most of the time. Many players will pre use their actives to avoid the stun or damage from Nuwa so throwing it out first and rooting may be the best way to get the enemy to run away. This allows followup later from your jungler or an instant dive in from the rest of your team as you finish with your ultimate.

Nuwa tips.

Breaking their ankles

One of the better uses of her fog is to walk around in side it to avoid enemies. Generally staying on the outer ring of the fog makes it harder to be hit and potentially make the enemy miss their skills or even end up saving you from a failed gank. You can also use this strategy in more of an offensive way by firing off the fog from within the jungle and not going inside it which possibly makes the enemy think they are being ganked or you are inside it.

Nuwa Build

Start with Conduit Gem. This item helps your early game by increasing your clearing ability. The following item can be Book of Thoth. Nuwa is a late game scaling character so building towards that late game will benefit you. Next will be The cosmic horror. This synergises with Book of Thoth to get your bonus cooldown. Next will be Soul reaver. Nuwa has a lot of damaging skills and makes great use of this item and it even helps her with the more tanky targets. Next will be Obsidian Shard. One of the core mid items and again helps with any form of enemy protection. Lastly Rod of Tahuti. More power and penetration aiming to help you hit as hard as possibly lategame.
