For me, this is one of the hardest bosses in the Sonic franchise, and the hardest in Sonic Superstars. The boss has two phases; if you die in one, you have to restart the entire fight. His lasers in the first phase and his rockets in the second are instant death. Also, if you fall through a hole, you lose your rings, or if he catches you in a net, it's also certain death. It took me 36 attempts, and I don't think I'll ever be able to do it again. That's why I immortalized it in this video. It may seem easy at first glance, but the controls are quite clumsy, and any instant-death element I mentioned can make you replay the fight from scratch.
