The Universe is burning and I sit with my "fart vapor" battle suite on waiting for my uber delivery to come... Took a while. Aparently there were some technical issues with hyperdictions whatever that is... sounds like a lame excuse.. Besides their policy clearly says deliver within the hour or your orders free. They should know me by now, I had at least 15 free orders at hutton orbital, they changed the policy there.. to be fair it was 15 very cold dinners.

Anyway I have nothing against the bugs, I say live and let live... there's enough diviision between our main factions, powers and ever the minor factions are continually fighting.

I can't think of a time when the Beldarkri Brothers weren't kicking up some trouble in this system.... still its safe, serene and stunning in Onez station...

Is the war over??? I'll maybe check Galnet..... oh hold on, that's my food order..

I love a good McThargoids Double Cheesee Buger with a side of Slimey Nuggets.

Ok this annoyed me sooo much, more so than docking without shields and losing a months exploration data. More than forgetting personal shields when getting into a fight in a ground base... More than landing on a high G planet.

My single most dumb way to die was 5 hours of Xeno biology scanning, finally got the last plant scanned... recalled my annaconda..

I jumped to keep clear of the ship, but seemed to be stuck under something, pushing me down towards the surface. pop

So,,, my recalled annaconda landed on me.. Lost 5 hours of work... was furious.

Other dumb ways, in a dolphin, on a convoy.. my cargo hatch failed... so a friend said he would ram the cargo out of my ship..

Large golden glow later.,.. and a nice rebuild screen appears for us both.

No idea if my cargo came out or not....

Over the years, I have seen many suggestions for in game shenanigans and the hilarity and videos from them are still kicking about.

I would love to see a challenge to see how high you can get an SRV on top of someones ship,

Similar for people...

The in game fun I remember the most, was using geysers to fire your commander into the air and see how high you could get, whilst still surviving the fall.

That kind of challenge I think would be awesome.

Importantly it would be fun, and secondly encourages video records!!

My favourite way to make money in Elite is through Ground Combat.

Its so simple, you don't need a ship, obviously you need to invest in a good combat setup with decent weapons.

I lovce my Karma, and my plasma combo.. just go in, shoot as many enemy as you can and win the scenario.

Low or Medium give you a slight return on your time, but nothing beats 10m a go at a high intensity zone.

High is a must, its engaging and fast paced, and you will die if you get into the wrong position or find a whole enemy squad landing on your head. It's so much fun in the right Settlement too as the more you know it the better you can cover all areas. The rest points become known, you recharge tripods.

Your Ammo crates... You gotta know where they are or you are done for.

The best bits for money are if the session glitches and the NPC's all stand still.,... takes a LOT longer to win the scenario but you can clear 20m credits in bounties for your trouble.

I love it... also you get weird issues sometimes that are funny, like getting dropped by the drop ship nearly in orbit... Or watching the drop ships bounce of the ground..

I didnt survive the drop...

Nor this one, where I couldnt even pick a side..

It's just faced paced on foot action... and despite not thinking I would enjoy that kind of repetative action.. .I love it.. and it makes a LOT of credits for you. Easily 200m a day if you can take the grind!!!

The Calhuacan is a lovely little Empire system, High Tech/Military so very handy for you outfitting needs. Controlled by Arissa Lavigny-Duval housing 5 Starports and 32 Installations.

But that is not the reason I love this system, no this system is fun.

SO Firstly it boasts to be the Headquarters of "The Mustache Riders" a relatively small player faction who clearly love a good giggle. Their solitary aim is to take control of one planet.

This planet is the reason I love this system and why you have to go visit.

Yes you read that right, Stapled Peacock Flesh... now I know Frontier offered the chance to players to name planets and stations. They did make it clear they would refuse names that broke the spirit of the universe, and despite these checks there are a few anomalys that possibly should have been "rejected".

I quite like Stapled peacock flesh, its definitely more creative than Placeholder Content in the Cartu system, Or Winnard's Hole in Lakota.

But you do sometimes need pointless reasons to do a little tour..

So .... I became unemployed at the beginning of the year due to the bite of many factors. And so I took a left turn from that business, and tech support stuff and turned my hand to cooking.

I make a Pineapple Hot Sauce and currently have been making some amazing Bacon Jerky and Turkey Jerky and soon Beef Jerky.

It has been so much fun to start, and now I am working towards getting all the legal requirements in place to potentially open a shop and sell it!!!!

• The guitar work in this is stunning, and the lyrics are typically Radiohead but the simplicitiy of the song and its rhythm is so soothing and chill.

• I got married to this song, my wife came down the aisle to my friend playing an accoustic guitar of this track. And while it was truly beautiful as was my wife.. it was also very amusing when asked what it was called to see their face, as they then asked... is she messy?

Its just a lovely song and hidden away on the album..

Kind of reminds me of the similar special song Muse have called Soldier's poem, has that lovely beat and simplicity.....
