Wish I could afford to fly one.

In the NBA rule number 5 section VI should be altered to remove mandatory timeouts. mandatory timeouts were implemented as a way of ensuring time for a commercial break during the broadcast of NBA games. While I understand the financial need, these types of timeouts in general are a huge intrusion into the game and remove a great deal of flexibility and tactical thinking.

Normal timeouts are 1 minute 15 seconds while during a nationally televised game, the mandatory timeout is 3 minutes 15 seconds. Compared to college ball the NBA already has too many breaks. Of course, you get to see star athletes play longer due to the pacing and more rest, but the flow of the game is greatly interrupted. With 30-second timeouts gone, it feels as if I'm constantly watching sideshows like the lady who spins plates or some 90's rap group when I'm at the stadium rather than a basketball game.

I go to games to watch basketball, yet the current mandatory timeout rule is starting the slide of making the NBA more like WWE.

The best ship for PvP by far is the Rorqual ORE Development Edition. The battle Rorqual by is the highest form of elite PvP. Flying a rare ship that seems defenseless is the perfect bait, while the rorqual can defend itself and support a nano gang lying in wait. The name alone will also confuse people when they look at their overview while many mining bots will not see the ship as a threat.

I would most like a channel centered around EVE tech and third-party developers to be created. A lot of the tech behind Carbon and Tranquility is bespoke and I do enjoy hearing about what goes on behind the scenes from time to time. A player's perspective would aslo be appreciated as during downtime and crashes we often only hear canned PR responses.

The dev/ESI scene is also quite intriguing. I had spent some time researching tools even if they had no value to me as it helped me to understand the meta and what other people are working with. I often see people describe their spreadsheets and analyses, but I for one would like to see some of the developer talk that is currently siloed be presented in an organized manner for laymen.

One invention I wish had never happened is leaded gasoline. Most understand at a basic level it is bad and that there were huge improvements in society when it was banned for cars. Unknown to most, is that it is still used in many other gasoline-powered vehicles and equipment. My local airport did a study recently that showed lead levels were still abnormally high in the surrounding area and even if they couldn't easily ban it, it would make economic sense to subsidize a drop-in replacement that would work with the old engines.

I was raised with a strong aversion to lead contamination. Quite often I think of the Roman empire and I was taught that lead poisoning was a serious concern back in the day. While it may not be the lowest-hanging fruit in improving public health, it is an issue that speaks to me.

I found about Just About for the r/EVE subreddit where many people complained about it. I was very interested in the concept as I used to write more quality thoughts back before social media took off and the initial forums/board aspect of the alpha seemed attractive.

I want to try Vanguard’s playtest because I want it to succeed. However, my idea of “success” is probably centered around into molding it closer to my tastes. Therefore I need to participate in the playtests and give tons of feedback so the devs notice and make it more of the tactical team shooter that I desire.
