An eye opening game!!

Why wouldn’t you want to explore the whole universe, in a spaceship loaded with cargo, with space pirates waiting to ruin 4 hours of work…

Now that might sound dreadful to most gamers who probably want to sit back and relax, but trust me that’s just one aspect of a game that is quite literally impossible to “complete”.

the sheer brevity of the game is mind blowing, with around 400 billion star systems, a 1:1 scale of the Milky Way. And yes that means hours spent travelling between, but for any space fans it’s the dream!

It can be quite the grind, hours spent buying and selling materials, or searching for never seen before star systems you get a fantastic mix of space adventure and crazy combat!

Dune Part Two (2024)

Maybe a bit of a hot pick, but this movie was both captivating and a brilliant continuation from the first of the new Dune series.

Carried heavily by incredible acting and scoring this film lifts you out of our universe and into another whilst still relating to the problems of the modern day.

I have always been a fan since a young age of movie series, such as Star Wars and Lord of The Rings, being able to tell such a broad story line, full of lore and spin-off availability it give you the chance to explore a home away from home and let your imagination grow.

I am also quite partial so controversial endings and plot twists, as someone who is constantly trying to figure out what is coming next or how it will end, even if that leaves slight disappointment it breaks away from the conventional “happy endings” that the movie industry is so often obsessed with.

This also opens the story up to a lot more oppertunity, such as video games or the prequel HBO series, or a continuing saga of movies, giving me the oppertunity to further explore the story surrounding the success of the first two films and I am excited to see more to come from this world.
