This came out in the early 2000s. The song is really catchy, I still remembered most of the lyrics when I was tracking down a video for this. It's Hootie of Hootie and the Blowfish dressed as a 50s cowboy with all kinds of strange happenings in the background. A good song, memorable background, and attractive women (Brooke Burke!) make a memorable, great commercial. The sandwich was pretty good too. I picked this video because it's been "HD converted" and the faces have some uncanny valley feeling happening, but this still looks better than the standard def ones I found.

I was super late to find out about Rilo Kiley (they formed in 1998). One of my friends told me about them last month and I've been including all their stuff in my daily shuffle. Jenny Lewis is the lead singer and you may recognize her from The Wizard (arguably the best product placement movie ever).
They've got four albums that are all pretty good, with a fun surf guitar sound throughout many of the songs. Sadly, they broke up in 2013 so nothing new from them.

I love the Lego Star Wars games. I willingly paid the extra $10 for the box art on this one. The clear sleeve sliding up removing Vader's helmet is the best box art for me.
This first one is a Weezer tattoo, their flying W logo. This was my first tattoo ever at 16. I was lucky(?) enough for my dad to hit his midlife crisis early and make poor parenting decisions. I have been a giant Weezer fan since the blue album.
This second tattoo is an Ingrid Michaelson song. Bit of a sad story, so don't unblock the spoiler if you don't like to read stuff related to death. I'm a huge Ingrid Michaelson fan and this means a lot to me for both love of the artist and the spoiler below.
My grandfather had a failed suicide attempt when I was in my early 20s. my father, as alluded to with the first tattoo, didn't make the best parental choices and I along with my wife were stuck dealing with the fallout. The song Be Ok is basically that everything happens for a reason and it will all be ok and you can put it back together.
Similar to what Laura said, "feel good" is different for everyone. I went through my most played music to see what I listened to and what made me feel good. I'll admit I removed some upbeat-sounding songs with questionable lyrics, but I stand by my choices here.
I remember putting so much effort into the order of songs in playlists, making sure you start strong for a hook before mellowing it out a bit and mixing in songs with strong choruses, then closing out with a song that still fit what you were going for but settled nicely to close it out. I didn't put any of that thought into this list, lol. Edit: not a clue why there is German in my link description, this was my first time using youtube music

The Grey Album by Danger Mouse is one of my all-time favorite albums. It's a mash-up of Jay-Z's Black Album and The Beatles White Album. It goes together so unbelievably well and is fantastic. The original album release was 3000 CDs and then EMI went all "stop that" and all official releases were stopped. You can find some very high-quality downloads online for free.
Roseanne- The original iteration ran 1988 to 1997. It showed a mostly real version of a working-class family in a small town in the mid-west of the United States. They lived through factories shutting down, abusive bosses that you couldn't fight, problem kids, the death of family members, abusive relationships, divorce, and a plethora of other real-life situations from the late 80s and early 90s.
Some shows from decades prior did occasionally touch on 'real life' but it was done in a very light and funny manner. Roseanne went full steam into many topics that weren't reflected in the media at the time. Even today, it's not touched on much.
Having watched the series again within the last year, I'm more than confident it was ahead of its time and still holds up to this day. No kids in the klobbersaurus household, but my brother has children and I know he's shown them a few episodes when they've talked about how we've grown up.
if you want a peek at how the flyover portions of the US lived in the 90s, track down a few episodes and see. The couch they have in the majority of the show is the exact same one that a best friend had in their house.
Well, here we go. This is the Millennium Falcon escaping the Empire into an astroid field from Empire Strikes Back. Special thanks to mrsklobber for assisting in the production. This was cut down from over 8 minutes of filming, not sure if I'm proud or embarrassed with how much we shot.
For years as a child, I thought the lyrics were "I want to rock and roll all nite and part of every day." I apparently really wanted to be a responsible partier and only do it part of the day.
Lauren Mayberry of Chvrches struck out with a solo act towards the end of 2023 and I just learned about it a few weeks ago. She's got a small handful of songs out as singles now and it's very different from Chvrches. Her range of style and sound is impressive. The most recent single 'Change Shapes' has a great sound and a fun video. I'm very excited to see what type of full album she puts together.
