Not really interested in the the bounty... But my happiest moment as a content creator is knowing that I sometimes do waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better "journalism" than the likes of Eurogamer.

For example, and I haven't bothered making a proper post about the following on my blog, but I have successfully deduced that Hellblade 2 hasn't been very successful, as shown in my various posts and comments at the following Just About link:

I'm not interested in the bounty, and therefore will provide 3 examples of content which I am most proud of producing in the past:

Re-Play - issue #1

This was an entirely self-funded magazine which I produced about 15 years ago. I was the editor and took care of all the logistics (including the hiring of writers etc, manufacturing 10,000 copies, as well as taking care of distribution). I launched the magazine at Eurogamer Expo 2009, and was also featured in trade industry publication MCV.

In more recent times, the 2 pieces of content which I am most proud of are as follows:

On the basis of its content alone, I wouldn't say that the interview itself stands out as being a shining example of what I am capable of. However, I am proud of the fact that it's been cited by over 25 English speaking gaming publications, as well as a number of social networks.

Even though the article itself hasn't been covered by the gaming press (to the best of my knowledge), I'm proud of the fact that the (rather long) opening blurb acts as a commentary to the situation which popular gaming forum, Resetera, finds itself in.

How did you find Just About? Tell us for $1!

As someone who used to be a fairly big fan of Eurogamer, I wanted to find out as to what Rupert Loman had been up to since he sold the site to Reedpop. After doing a Google search, I discovered an article on GamesIndustry.Biz which outlined Mr Loman's future (current?) plans.

I then sent Mr Loman an email which outlined my request in wanting to interview him. He accepted the interview request, and I sent over the questions soon after. Upon getting the necessary responses, and when looking to publish the completed interview on my blog, I used the opening blurb as an excuse to outline some of the commonly held grievances which gamers had against Resetera - one of the biggest gaming forums currently on the planet.

I don't know if Resetera ever found out about the interview and its opening blurb... Which is probably for the best.
