As of the latest patch, you can select a new 'Honour' difficulty mode that limits you to a single save file and also "ups the intensity" of the previous hardest mode, Tactician, making the game even more difficult in and out of combat.
Fortunately, if you just want to curb your tendency to save scum on other difficulties, there's another new 'custom' difficulty mode that allows you to tweak a ton of options - you could have Tactician-level combat with lower enemy aggression all with a single save file:
