I find this veerryyyy interesting.... Makes me wonder if with all the gamepass / game anywhere / cloud gaming chat if the next xbox will be looking to emulate the Nintendo Switch in form factor and functaionality?
Could the Xbox Series S have been part of the test here with a lower powered system which with the increasing power of mobile chips could easily be recreated into a handheld form factor? One which is docable to play on your home TV setup?
I'd like to see something like this TBH, but I'd also like to see a console with a physical disc drive, ive heard rumors that there could be two versions of the next Xbox again so who knows, maybe that could be the two... One is a big box for in your living room whilst the other is a Handheld which you can take on the go (and no doubt by a dock for more money if you want to dock it for use on your TV monitor knowing Microsoft as they are the kings of the peripherals with their consoles)
What's everyone opinion on this possible new direction for Xbox hardware?
