Structure timer in EVE Battle Backpackers or so :P and some Couter Strike for the vibe.
Apart from my FFXIV raid prog only some FF7 Ever Crisis on my phone to chill a bit after having a struggle with my SSD which failed on me. Not a fun weekend :(
I played a bit of STALKER and Mudrunner but spent most of my free time painting warhammer.
Im thinking of upgrading to snowrunner as although I like Mudrunners driving and physics, the fact that the only job is hauling logs is getting a bit dull and the sequal adds more stuff to do.
Good morning! This last week I've been playing a lot of Bayonetta 3. I was just picking it up to play random levels but I essentially ended up playing most of the game in random order because it's so fun! Otherwise, not much. I'm basically treading water until Dragon's Dogma comes out
I got stuck into Football Manager 24. Trying to take Spennymoor Town up the leagues.
I beat Sakura Wars (2019) on PS4 recently. Scratched that visual novel itch that I loved from the Persona series and despite the mixed reviews I really really enjoyed it. Other than that I also beat Gears of War 2 for 360. Glad I got a 360 recently to go back to play all those Gen 7 games that I missed out on being a PS3 kid
aww good times! I’m doing the same right now but with games I missed on Xbox 360! Games back then had so much more character, not afraid to take risks and we’re just more fun!
Yeah it's completely different design philosophies as well! I know a lot of people harp on about remasters of old games - but I think games nowadays restrict control/ rail-road a lot of interaction. I stopped playing through Ghost of Tsushima as I really disliked that a lot of the buildings and houses had the same layout and there was overall a lack of personality (from the characters and design) although the visuals were top notch.
Compared to Yakuza 0 or Yakuza Kiwami where I really enjoyed that each side story was quite unique in terms of writing and character. The actual missions were quite same-y just like GoT but the weird interactions Kiryu goes through is like that secret ingredient that makes playing the game very compelling
After loving its predecessor, I thought it was only right I get stuck into Turnip Boy Robs A Bank!
https://youtu.be/RiPRjukdyOE?si=Fi3J81rd3iHIfqJNI do a series of abandonware exploration called “WTF Was…” and this weekend I played a point and click horror adventure game called Project Xenophobe from 2005.It was actually a really good time. Plenty of funny moments and the puzzles weren’t brutally obtuse. Seems to have been getting steady views since publishing too.
If you like obscure retro abandonware, maybe give it a watch!
Didn't get to play much as had a super busy weekend but did manage to snatch some time while little one napped on me to try Dicey Dungeons!
awesome! Hows it going being a dad!?
Tiring but absolutely love it. Wouldn't change it for the world!
I did grab The Crew Motorfest and play for a bit. I'll grab it when it goes on a pretty good sale. Hotline Miami was $2 on sale last week, so I spent a little time with that this weekend.
haha same I’m waiting to pick up crew Motorfest on sale too!
