Share your favourite example of environmental storytelling in gaming!

I was walking through the ruins when the sky began to fracture. At first there was a strange silence, and then everything around me started to float: stones, branches, even the dust refused to fall. Gravity was gone, as if the world was too tired to hold us anymore.

And yet, in the middle of that suspended chaos, I felt peace. The air was lighter, time itself seemed to stop. For a moment, this broken planet we struggle to survive in stopped being a place of suffering, and turned into something serene, almost beautiful.

Maybe the anomaly reminds us how fragile reality is. Or maybe it’s just the world’s way of giving us a brief moment of calm.
