best one I’ve seen so far is Razer jumping on the AI bandwagon and implementing it into their gaming chairs 🤣 straight up Doc Ock vibes from this lol if this was real would you want it? 🤣🎮💪

The finest April Fools gaming prank for me was when IGN made the world freak out about a Legend of Zelda movie. 15 year anniversary today!

This has to be the funny one for me, totally inappropriate but hilarious Tweet by Palworld

This year I want to spotlight a corporate campaign. CCP Games, known for 'Eve Online', pulled off a memorable April Fool's Day joke called 'NERF'. All the juicy details can be found in the provided link.

What truly grabbed my attention was the community's reaction. There's a buzzing forum post where players are actually requesting that this 'joke' feature, especially the much-anticipated Jukebox, be retained permanently! Check it out here: Reddit Link.

This is a prime example of how a company can creatively use April Fool's Day to safely experiment with unconventional ideas, gauging real-time feedback and enthusiasm from their audience.

If you have a bit of knowledge of FFXIV raiding, then probably you've heard of NEST. Really fun group of friends raiding together, you're definitely in for quality entertainment if you tune in to one of their sessions.

One of the members put up a video introducing a new game, a dating sim where you can date and interact with the group members. And if you know their sense of humour you could totally fall for this, because I bet they would be up to actually make it:

I always loved that Ubisoft released the trailer for FC:Blood Dragon on april 1st as a joke and then just and released the game at the end of the month.

Mojang always go above and beyond when it comes to their April Fools updates for Minecraft, and this year is no exception. It always blows my mind how ambitious and expansive they are (especially when compared to how modest a lot of more recent updates are), and it's almost infuriating that all these amazing features are only there for a joke and will never make their way into the main game.

Apparently the reason why they are so good is because the devs usually struggle to get the approval to add a lot of fun new things into the core game, so this is the opportunity once a year to go wild and add stuff for people to enjoy that they aren't allowed to include in the regular feature updates. A rather sad state of affairs that sure does bring down the mood of the day, but still, it's at least fun while it lasts.

The Nintento Switch Super Mario prank was hillarious! The idea of being able to see characters and objects around the room but having no camera or eligible equipment to be able to interact with anything.

The best April Fool's prank for me is the one done by Riot Games for Valorant with the announcement of update 4.1. The update would reportedly include a mix-and-match of all the agents' abilities, drinking fountains, and in particular a penalty for poor aim.
