Sadly I can't pick two, for work - its a bunch of interviews and hands-on, for personal flavor - Cosplay!

How do they learn to make such amazing outfits and props? 😀 I love it when they blends IPs!

Youtube is a great source to learn how to glue things together. Affordable 3D printing also made things SO much easier. You can get a decent printer with a large volume for about 150 EUR, that's insane! And I managed to print a full-size helmet on it

Fair play! I've got a lot of respect for the time and talent going in to these. I used to do a lot of 3D printing a few years back and converted our garage into a print room, but it was always for engineering use!

I'd have far rather worked with cosplayers! 😝

there are far too many reasons so had to go with General Vibes !! I will be Attending WASD in London at the end of next month as a Creator and I am HYPED !

Boomer's avatar

That's fantastic! 😀 Is this the first time you'll be at a gaming show as a creator?

Kings Court's avatar

No last year I was invited to EGX and Format GG as a creator, and this year so far I have, Pocket Gamers which I attended in Feb, WASD in April and Format again in September.

Excellent! What's your favourite part of going to gaming shows as a creator rather than a general attendee?

Kings Court's avatar

There is a certain level of interaction you get when you have the creator pass, I dont feel any more or less valuable than a gen admission but it defo opens doors to talk and create avenues for collaborations and business opportunities !

I can't pick multiple so let's just say I go to conventions, for lots of these reasons lol

Boomer's avatar

There are just too many awesome things to check out 😄

I've not been to too many conventions it'd probably things that you can't get from real life from waiting i.e. meeting developers, merch, and cosplay/ vibes.

You can always wait for a game to release but it's not always you get that chance to meet a developer/ YTer/ cosplayer and I think going down artists alley to see exhibitors and discovering new stuff is what I really enjoy about conventions.

Boomer's avatar

There really is something special about the artist alley at conventions! Such talented people but they're not given the same spotlight as the bigger creators.

That's why I love the indie spaces at gaming shows like WASD, as it's a great way to discover quirky games and hidden gems!

For me its being around devs, games and creators. I love seeing whats new and meeting new people. I cant wait!!
