Calling all comic fans! How do you pick a new series to read?

Do you read comics or graphic novels regularly? How do you choose a new series to start?

I'm a bit of a completionist with the urge to collect card games (Magic: the Gathering, Spellfire) and roleplaying books (Fighting Fantasy, D&D and similar systems), but I'd like to read more comics and graphic novels.

The problem is I have no idea where to start!๐Ÿ˜† I check a few sites on Wednesdays (new comic day!), but I just flit around based on whichever cover looks the coolest!

Here are a few I picked out this week ๐Ÿ˜ Let me know if any of them look good!

Plus Judge Dredd fights a battle of survival in the wild in "Rend & Tear With Tooth & Claw" by Rob Williams and RM Guera!

Local Man has lost Farmington to forces of Faceless Horde. Now every townsperson is a devout, fanatical member of a sprawling terrorist organization bent on rebooting world-including his own grieving mom.

Lots and lots of big ass guns.
