As fans will know, Marvel relaunched Star Wars comics in 2015, expanding on cool characters and concepts, like the Knights of Ren, which didn't get the screen time many expected they would in the Disney sequel trilogy. Now, a team of comic book legends are reconvening to work on Star Wars: A New Legacy #1, said to be Marvel's "bold reimagining" of its corner of the comic book universe.
Via CBR.com:
The creative team assembled on A New Legacy is no Skeleton Crew, as it were. The project reunites comic book powerhouses Jason Aaron, Kieron Gillen, and Charles Soule, who will collectively weave a one-shot to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Marvel Star Wars comics
[...] The new project aims to revisit and reimagine fan-favorite characters like Scar Squadron, Doctor Aphra, and Darth Vader, aiming to honor the past while redefining the future of Marvel’s Star Wars comics. Aaron, a Marvel stalwart perhaps best known for his legendary Thor run, also launched the original Star Wars series under the Marvel imprint in 2015.
Do we have any Star Wars comics fans in? What are your hopes for this project?
