Now that we're post-Endgame we're probably also post-heyday for post-credits scenes in the movies, which means it's entirely logical to introduce them in books! (Maybe post-acknowledgements scenes? Best not think too hard about this.)
In the movies, post-credits scenes can be used to hint at a sequel, wrap up side stories, shock the audience with an unexpected twist, or just make them laugh! With this in mind, we want you to propose and depict a post-credits scene for a book or comic of your choice in a social media post.
Your post must contain the following:
Tell us the book or comic to which you are adding a scene
Give us an overview of what the scene would entail
Include a picture of wha the scene would look like. Original artwork would be amazing and would guarantee a prize, but we don't need anything too fancy for this - you can use photo editing software to give us a rough idea. You may not use generative AI.
Optionally, you can start writing the scene either in your post or here on the site, but you must include all of the above in the post itself. So which books or comics could use a sting in the tail? Maybe Dickens's Tale of Two Cities gets a third city in the sequel?

The scene takes place years after the novel's conclusion. Jane and Edward Rochester live in Thornfield, rebuilt after the fire. They have a son and their life is simple but full of love. Edward is still blind - or so it seems - but they are still happy because they are together.
They rebuild the house, they have a child .... she is surprised, he regains his sight and sitting he sees the scenery outside his house.
