In past rewards on JBC, we've asked you to show us your favourite artwork from books and comics. This time around, we want you to show us your own take!
Create a new image for the cover art of a book or comic of your choice. Here are the rules:
Your new image should be illustrative of or otherwise appropriate to the book or comic you've chosen. If the connection isn't clear, explain it, or risk missing out on the prize!
Your new image must be submitted through connected social media. Please include the hashtags #JustCreators and #books or #comics.
As usual, generative AI is strictly forbidden, and to prove it hasn't been used, you must include a work-in-progress image of your artwork during its creation, either in your social media post or using the media upload feature here on the platform.
We'd love it if you'd include the original cover art so we can see the difference between it and your own take. This isn't mandatory but may factor into the prize decision if it's a close call.
This is a time-limited reward which will only close and be judged on April 25, 2025.
