It's a bit of a long read but Ursus shares some fascinating details about how his company 25/7 Media approaches talent management for social media subcultures.
The most interesting part I found is the targeted approach to collaboration, turning their existing clients into a marketing tool to quickly build up their new clients' profile.
It feels like a stripped down version of the multi-channel networks we used to see operating on YouTube, but with a better understanding by the agency of their clients. It's less about a big brand buying into the new media space as it was known, and nowadays it's about being small and scrappy, but hyper-collaborative and authentic.
I'm fascinated by all of this even if I'm not a content creator myself, so drop a comment below if you give it a read.
