Sounds like YouTube is sick of ad blockers!
Over the last few months users with ad blockers installed have been notified that they are against the terms of service, and recently the number being notified is ramping up.
Some ads can be so annoying, like the same unskippable ad back-to-back or ones that are 40 mins long! That being said, ads play an important part of the YouTube (and many other platforms') business model, so I can see why they'd want to stop people blocking them.
The article more platforms are introducing paid and ad-free options, but is the cost of a subscription worth it? Do the extra perks like downloading videos on YouTube Premium justify the cost?
What do you think? Have you paid to subscribe to any of these social platforms?
