anyone ever had a problem where their YouTube videos comments section keep switching to comments disabled? This is happening in my new channel no matter what settings I change and I have comments enabled, it works for a few minutes then I go back to the video and it has changed back to disable comments? HELLLPPPPP

Try to check the settings for video, channel or maybe even playlist (last 2 are my wild guesses) if you claimed 'made for kids' anywhere. COPPA a known thing which turn off commenting section.
Update: just checked your YT channel, randomly opened several videos (2 from uploads and several from 'live' section) - all of them have comments block visible and active. If you talking about 2nd channel, i cant remember the name as it had many same letters in a row
thanks but it’s actually a brand new one just about Nintendo have a look and see if the comments are showing please, just verified that I’m over 18 so that was maybe the reason, hopefully we can sort this and it may help others if this happens to them!
I’ve turned the comments back on as it had went back to off, it seems to work for a few minutes then reverts back, hopefully not now with age verification complete?

yeah but I had to re-enable them again to respond to you, it seems to just keep randomly deactivating them! I changed the moderation sensitivity this time too so hopefully the change sticks! Thanks for all the help btw super appreciated
